I didn’t choose to do music, music found me

Newly signed on to John Obas Isokpehi’s Uganda-based record label, Striker Entertainment, Ugandan hip-hop artiste, Big Tril, as he is fondly called, has been gradually stamping his feet on the Ugandan music scene. With the release of three singles to his credit, Big Tril, born Kazai Raymond Roland, is in Nigeria at the moment to shoot the videos of his singles,
They can hear us; Sun mo mi and Bad girl thing, courtesy of striker entertainment, which becomes his new musical home. The hip-hop singer, who used to do a lot of rhymes and poetry while in high school, claims he never planned to venture into the music making craft, but that music still found him. According to him, though he had good grades after graduating from school, he decided to venture into music because it called out to him. Big Tril He said, “It just called out to me. I had good grades but after I was done with school, I just  told my mum I wanted to do music. She wasn’t surprised because she told me when she met my dad he was a DJ. She said she would support me and she has been very supportive ever since. I started in 2011 and the journey has been dope; but like any other journey, you have your ups and downs. It hasn’t been easy but then in life nothing is easy.” Big Tril who is super excited to be signed on to Striker Entertainment was full of praises for the CEO, John Obas Isokpehi, and the management of the label. He expressed utmost confidence in the management of the label because he believes they are different from all other labels. “A lot of record labels out there exploit artist but contrary to popular believe, Striker Entertainment has done a lot for me. I’m in Nigeria on a media tour, courtesy of Striker Entertainment, I have released  three songs, also courtesy of the label and I am presently working on my album”, he said.
