Awunah said that the police received a report that one Rosemary Jacob was on 29 July, 2010 abducted alongside two other men at Abak Road, Uyo by a gang of seven men over an alleged failed land transaction.

He stated that the abducted persons were taken to a house within Ewet housing Estate being the residence of Friday Obonoh where they were tortured to death and their remains and vehicle disposed of.

“Painstaking intelligence led investigation to the arrest of the mastermind and perpetrators of this heinous crime on the 15th day of March, 2017 and they have all confessed to the various roles they played in the commission of the dastardly crime.

“The arrests illustrate that cases of this nature are not allowed to go cold in the Nigeria Police Force under the watch of the current Inspector General of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Idris.

"Toyota Motor said will build a new plant in Baja, Mexico, to build Corolla cars for U.S. NO WAY! Build plant in U.S. or pay big border tax," Trump said in a post on Twitter. New iPhone screen puts blue-colored spotlight on Japan supplier

The iPhone’s success has transformed the fortunes of dozens of suppliers, from glass manufacturers to the maker of robots that cut metal cases. Now, as Apple Inc. prepares to introduce a new smartphone with an OLED screen, a Japanese refiner better known for its chain of gas stations is about to join the list. Idemitsu Kosan Co. began experimenting with organic light-emitting diodes in the mid-1980s, seeking to reduce its reliance on petroleum after the global oil shock. Now, pick up Google’s latest Pixel smartphone or a Galaxy model from Samsung Electronics Co., and chances are the blue pixels on the OLED screens are built with Idemitsu’s materials or patents. Wider adoption of the advanced displays, which offer crisper images and use less battery power, is putting the spotlight on Japanese suppliers that up until now had virtually no stake in iPhone sales. Canon Tokki Corp., for example, has a near monopoly on the giant vacuum machines capable of making OLED screens. Dai Nippon Print...
