Awilo Longomba Relive singer's timeless music on his birthday with these videos

Awilo Longomba turns a year older today May 5, 2017.
The Congolese musician is known for his Soukous songs and calls his style of music ''Technosoukous''.
However many have affiliated him with Makossa another dance style  that is pretty much more common in Douala city of Cameroon.

Compared with Congolese Soukous, Makossa's sound is leaner, using fewer instruments and more musical space.
Awilo's song 'Gate le coin' off the "Coupe Bibamba" album released in 2013 became a viral hit single in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
Awilo in recent times has collaborated with several Nigerian artists such as Iyanya, Yemi Alade, Zoro, Tiwa Savage,and Praiz among others.
Longomba will be performing alongside other top African artists at the One Africa Music Fest holding on May 13, 2017 at the SSE Arena, Wembley, London.WATCH THE VIDEO HERE

EFCC denies raid on Dajuma Goje‎ home

The Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, has denied reports that it raided the Abuja home of Senator Dajuma Goje. The EFCC in a statement signed by Wilson Uwujaren urged Nigerian and others to disregard reports that EFCC’s men on Thursday evening raided the home of Danjuma Goje, Uwujaren‎ in the statement said ”Please disregard online reports claiming the EFCC today April 20 raided the Abuja home of Senator Please disregard online reports claiming the EFCC today April 20 raided the Abuja home of Senator Dajuma Goje‎.
